A reflective print is your logo cut from retroreflective film, following the exact shape of your mark, and heat-applied to the fabric of the cap. By day it is silver-grey with a subtle metallic sheen — it looks like a smart single-colour print. When light from headlights, a torch or a camera flash hits it, the film reflects it straight back to its source and the logo glows bright white. Reflective logo caps are the choice of roadside crews, couriers, public services, and running and cycling clubs — and the print works on winter hats too. Always with a sample before production.

How a reflective print is made, step by step.
You send us your logo (ideally a vector file: PDF, AI, SVG; a high-resolution PNG also works) and an approximate quantity. We check that the shape can be cut from film and, if needed, suggest thickening any fine details.
We cut the logo digitally (on a plotter) from retroreflective film, precisely along its outline — no plates, no screens, no set-up. We weed out the excess film, leaving just your mark on the carrier sheet.
We heat-apply the print to a sample cap and send you photos in daylight and with a flash — so you can see the reflective effect for yourself. On request, we send a physical sample by courier.
Once you approve, we heat-apply the logo to the whole run. Standard lead time is 5–10 working days. Shipped by courier once complete.

What does a reflective print look like by day and at night?
By day, a logo in reflective film is silver-grey and matt with a slight metallic sheen — it looks like a smart, single-colour print. When light falls on it (car headlights, a torch, a camera flash), microscopic prisms in the film reflect it straight back to the source and the logo glows bright white. In a flash photo you can see the effect straight away.
Who are reflective print caps for?
For anyone who works or trains after dark or near roads: construction, road and service crews, couriers, security staff, municipal services, cyclists, runners, sports clubs, schools and nurseries (caps for children), and community road safety campaigns. They are also a good choice for outdoor and sports brands that want a reflective element as part of their design.
What kind of logo works as a reflective print?
Simple, single-colour designs work best: a wordmark, symbol, outline or pictogram. We cut the reflective film to the shape of the logo, so very thin lines (under approx. 1.5 mm) and small lettering (under approx. 5 mm) need to be thickened or simplified. We cannot reproduce gradients or photos — that is what DTF print is for. A multi-colour logo can be made as a single-colour reflective version, or we can combine the reflective print with embroidery or a print.
Which caps can have a reflective print?
Caps (cotton, polyester, blends), trucker caps with a smooth front and knitted winter hats — a reflective logo on a beanie is a classic for runners and cyclists. It looks best on flat panels and in dark colours, where the silver reflective finish gives the strongest contrast. For water-resistant coatings and very fluffy knits, just ask — we will check on a sample.
How durable is a reflective print? How should the cap be washed?
The reflective film is heat-bonded into the fabric — it does not peel off with normal wear and withstands many washes; the intensity of the reflection gradually fades over time. We recommend hand washing or washing at 30°C inside out, with no bleach and no tumble dryer, no ironing directly over the print and no dry cleaning.

The price depends on the size of the logo and the quantity; the number of pieces has the biggest impact. We produce from single pieces, and the price per cap drops noticeably on larger quantities.
