Is my logo suitable for embroidery?
Most vector logos with contrasting colours embroider well — it is our most popular decoration method. The tricky elements are gradients (DTF print works better for those), very fine details under 1 mm (they need simplifying) and very thin lines. Send us your file — within 1-2 working days you will get feedback on what can be done, plus a preview visualisation.
How much does embroidery cost? Is there a surcharge for a higher stitch count?
The price of embroidery depends mainly on the number of stitches (the more detail, the more stitches) and on the quantity. On larger orders the unit price drops noticeably. The quickest way to see an exact figure is to upload your logo to the online designer — you get a quote in 30 seconds.
Is 3D embroidery the same as machine embroidery?
No — 3D embroidery is a variant in which a foam pad hidden under the stitches creates a raised effect (standing 2-3 mm proud). It is ideal for large, bold lettering (e.g. NBA and NFL logos). Classic machine embroidery is "flat" — more elegant and better at reproducing detail. More on 3D embroidery → 3D embroidery on caps.
Can I get an embroidery sample before the full order?
Always. As standard, we send photos of the sample for your approval (the fastest option). On request, we send a physical sample by courier so you can judge the quality, the thread colours and the overall look in person. Production does not start until then.
Can you match the colours to our brand book?
We work with Madeira and Gunold thread ranges (the industry standard). We will match the thread to your Pantone colours — just give us the numbers from your brand book or mark the colours in your file. You approve the final choice on the sample before production.
Do you embroider winter hats?
Yes — embroidery looks great on beanies, bobble hats, knitwear and fleece. For some very stretchy knits we use a stabiliser so the thread does not pull the fabric. We will recommend the best method for your specific model.
