The logo stands proud of the fabric, catches the light and has the look of the caps worn by American NBA and NFL teams. 3D embroidered caps work best with large, bold lettering and simple symbols on caps with a structured front — snapbacks, fitted caps (Full Cap) and trucker caps. We produce from 1 piece, always with a sample before production.

You send your logo (AI, EPS, SVG, PDF, PNG) via the contact form or by email. Our adviser tells you which elements can be raised and which are better done flat — and sends back a quote with a visual mock-up.
We program the satin stitch that seals the foam under the thread. A one-off step — no charge on repeat orders.
We send photos of the finished 3D embroidery on a sample cap. On request, a physical sample by courier so you can judge the raised effect in person.
Once you approve, we run the full order. Typically 5–10 working days. Dispatched by courier on completion.

Is my logo suitable for 3D puff embroidery?
3D embroidery loves large, solid shapes: bold lettering, simple symbols, monograms. There is foam under the thread, so an element needs to be at least approx. 3 mm wide and letters approx. 10 mm high — thinner lines and fine details are done in flat embroidery, often in the same design as the 3D element. Send us your file — within 1–2 working days we will tell you which elements can be raised and show you a visual mock-up.
How does 3D embroidery differ from standard machine embroidery?
In 3D embroidery a cushion of embroidery foam is stitched in under the stitches, so the logo stands 2–3 mm proud of the fabric and you can feel it under your fingertips. Flat embroidery renders detail and subtle shapes better, while 3D puff embroidery gives a bolder, more “sporty” look — like the caps worn by NBA or NFL teams.
Which caps work for raised embroidery?
Caps with a structured front work best: structured 6-panel caps, snapbacks, fitted caps (Full Cap) and trucker caps. On soft, unstructured caps (dad caps) and on knitted winter hats the foam loses its shape — for those we recommend flat embroidery. We will help you choose the right model for your logo.
How much does 3D embroidery cost, and what is the minimum order?

Send us your logo and an approximate number of caps, and within 1–2 working days we will send back a quote with a visual mock-up. Flat embroidery can be priced instantly in our online designer.
Can 3D embroidery be combined with flat embroidery?
Yes, and we do it often. We can embroider the background flat and make the main logo elements 3D — or the other way round: fine elements and lettering in flat embroidery, with a large outline or symbol raised. Both are stitched in a single run, and you approve the whole effect on one sample.
Is 3D embroidery durable? What about washing?
The foam is permanently sealed under dense satin stitching and does not absorb water, so 3D embroidery stands up to everyday wear and washing just as well as flat embroidery. We recommend hand washing or a 30°C wash without spinning — as for any embroidered cap — to keep the shape of the peak and the raised design.
