Cap decoration: frequently asked questions.
What file format should I upload my logo in?
Ideally a vector file: AI, EPS, SVG or PDF, which gives the best possible quality. We also accept PNG/JPG at min. 300 DPI. Only have a poor-quality file (a photo, a screenshot, low resolution)? Send us what you have and we'll see what can be done with it.
Cap embroidery or printing — which is right for my logo?
A logo with clear, defined shapes → embroidery (the most prestigious finish, up to 12 thread colours). Logos with gradients, photographs or very fine detail → DTF print. Not sure? Send us your file and we'll recommend the best option for your logo and quantity.
Does embroidery work on every fabric?
Practically yes: cotton, knit, twill, fleece, softshell. The exceptions are very thin / sheer materials and some technical membranes. Unsure about your model? Send us the artwork or a photo of the cap and we'll check and advise.
Can I see a sample before production?
Always. As standard, we send photos of the sample for your approval (the fastest option). On request, we also make a physical sample and send it by courier, so you can judge the quality and colours in person.
What is the maximum stitch count you can handle?
As standard, up to ~15,000 stitches per side of the cap. Above that, we check case by case whether it makes sense (dense embroidery can put strain on the fabric). Complex logos are often better done as a DTF print or a patch.
What about thread / print colours?
We work with the Pantone palette and match the colour to your brand book. In your order, give us the Pantone number or send a file with CMYK/RGB colours, and we'll pick the closest matching thread. You approve the choice before production.
